Apprising the Parents About School Enterprise Challenge During the Orientation Programmesand Selling Compost Thereafter in the PTMs

During the Orientation programmes for parents of Nursery to grade 5 from April 17 to 22, 2017, grade 12 students of the school business team apprised the parents about the School Enterprise Challenge and the benefits of participating in the challenge. Through a video presentation, the students also showed the skills they had learnt while participating in this contest. Subsequently during the PTMs the students sold compost produced in the school from the dry leaves lying scattered in the school campus to the parents and teachers. The compost sold like hot cakes as the business team exhibited their persuasive selling skills. One of the customers (Mr. Praveen Singh Mandoli, parent of Atharva Singh Mandloi of grade I D) who had earlier bought the product and was very happy with its results bought 500 kg of compost enabling the team to generate a substantial amount of profit in a limited span of time. The parents appreciated the efforts of the school in raising funds for people less fortunate than ourselves.
